About Embroidery
Embroidery as a branding process is suitable for clothing, caps, towels and selected bags, and many other products offers a permanent and branding solution.
Embroidery is the art of decorating fabric or other materials with designs stitched in strands of thread. Embroidery machines are driven by computers which read digitised embroidery files (electronic stitch patterns) created by specialised software.
We use the latest Tajima embroidery machines which allow for up to 15 colours to be embroidered simultaneously. We have 2 8 head machines, 2 6 head machines and 2 single head machines.
Pantone colours are used as a reference to match to thread colours. However, the range of thread colours is limited when compared to pantones and the closest (not always exact) match is used. We use Royal thread, but we are not restricted, we can access Madeira, Kingstar, Isacord and Marithon.
Very fine detail and text smaller than 3mm high should be avoided as it is difficult to achieve this in stitches.
